About Me
My name is John, the creative director
Most people think great photos come from great cameras. That if the lighting is right and the pose looks polished, the job is done. That’s the safe advice. That’s what everyone expects. But the images that actually convert, connect, and get remembered rarely come from playing it safe. They come from understanding people first.
I didn’t start Jaypstudios because I woke up one day with a camera. I started it because I’ve always seen stories hiding in plain sight. Back in 2011, I was the “test model” for a friend’s first professional camera. Standing awkwardly by a tree, learning how it felt to be on the other side of the lens. That mattered! because later, watching how clients reacted, relaxed, and opened up taught me something technical skills never will. People don’t want to look impressive. They want to feel understood.
Years working in a studio, then as an interior decorator, I trained my eye to see space, emotion, and flow. This comes in handy as I am able to visualize what would work for your space.
Whether it’s a home, a brand, or a person, same principle applies; if it doesn’t feel warm, it doesn’t work. Add a master’s degree in business management, and suddenly photography isn’t just art. It’s strategy. It’s psychology. It’s intention.
And therefore, I don’t just take photos. I help you show up as yourself, on purpose, in a way your audience instantly trusts. Because the right image doesn’t just look good. It tells the right story, before you ever say a word.
